Here are some of my family's favorite "South of Seattle" parks to check out this summer.
Hawks Landing
This park is my kiddos top choice at the moment. It’s a hit with a variety of ages! There’s a smaller playground for younger ones, a picnic shelter, a grassy area, benches for caregivers and of course - the tree top net trail for everyone to enjoy.
Visit Hawks Landing at:
18810 Eagle Ridge Dr E, Bonney Lake, WA
West Fenwick Park
This colorful playground is so inviting! The area is inspired by board games and I love that it’s accessible for all. My youngest especially loves the "squishy" ground.
Visit West Fenwick Park at:
3808 S Reith Rd, Kent, WA
Gene Goodwin Memorial Tot Lot
This ** fully fenced in ** park is a hit with my kiddos. Theres plenty to do here: playground equipment, swings, sandbox, free little library, and a path with lots of ride on toys that belong to the park.
Visit Fircrest Tot Lot at:
527 Ramsdell St, Fircrest, WA
Chutes + Ladders
This is a super fun park with a beautiful view of the water! It’s a short drive or walk from Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma. Tons of stairs to get your kiddos energy out and the slides are fun for adults too! (Strollers must be parked at top or bottom of the “chutes + ladders”)
Visit Chutes + Ladders at:
5402 Park Ave, Ruston, WA
