DIY Art Cart

My kiddos love arts & crafts, but my 5 year old REALLY loves it. It’s pretty much the first activity he chooses every morning. I love activities that he can select and clean up independently. I decided to create an art cart that my kiddos can easily access. I plan to rotate the supplies every few weeks. It's only been out a few days, but so far it's been a big success!

Here’s what I started out with in the cart:

• Dry erase writing boards

• Pencil crayons

• Paper

• Coloured paper

• Cut out paper shapes

• Scissors

• Glue

• Hole punchers

• Stamps + pad

• Click markers

• Stickers

Some other ideas:

• Play dough + toys

• Colouring books

• Paint + brushes

I’m also trying out a new style of markers. They’re called click markers, by Crayola. I love the idea of no marker caps rolling all over (especially with a baby crawling around in our house).
