Nicola is the founding owner of West Coast Nannies. She holds an Honors Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies. She takes great interest in staying up to date with the latest child and family related information and education. She most recently completed her certificate of Child Nutrition and CPR/First Aid .

 

She has spent more than a decade working directly with children and families in a variety of settings. This includes experience teaching abroad, teaching in the school system and childcare centers, as well as placements as a nanny and household manager in private homes. Nicola has gained a variety of skills and resources while completing post-secondary education and during her time as a teacher and nanny. As a mother to four young children, she also understands a parent's perspective and the importance of finding the right person to care for your precious littles. She looks forward to using this knowledge and her specific skill set within her agency, in order to create successful partnerships between families and nannies.

Nicola is originally from Vancouver, British Columbia. She now enjoys calling Washington home and spends her free time with family. She has a great appreciation for the West Coast and loves to be by the water, surrounded by nature, skiing, or road-tripping to a new destination.
